62. DOGS CAN SMELL OUR DISORDERS

If you have diabetes, cancer or even epilepsy, your dog can smell that. Studies have shown that dogs can be trained to sniff out different types of cancer: cancer of the lung, bladder, prostate, breast and skin. The mechanism is suspected to be that dogs smell the faint scents given off by abnormal cells.

But the most mysterious are some reports that dogs can predict an epileptic seizure 45 mins before it begins and the mechanism is still unknown.
